Washington, D.C. Native, K. Lowery Moore, is an author, poet, speaker, and radio show host. As an author, she enjoys writing in various genres, but penning romantic and erotic novels is her true passion. Her sizzling novels, When I’m Loving You and When the Lovin’ Gets Good, highlight successful, career women as they balance personal tragedies and maintaining the love they desire. Her poetry book, Moments in Love: Reflections through Poetic Expressions, features the award-winning poems: The Strength of a Black Woman, and most notably, I Still Struggle, which depicts her personal struggle, from the age of ten years old through adulthood, with the death of her mother.


Since publishing her first book, When I'm Loving You,  in 2007, K. Lowery Moore has been featured at several literary events. She had the memorable opportunity to share her work on stage at the Michael Baisden Live Tour in 2008. She has also appeared on local cable TV shows: Success Filled Living in 2008 and Views & Vibes in 2013.


In 2014, K. Lowery Moore launched an Internet-based radio show at Listen Vision Studios in Washington, D.C. The K. Lowery Moore Show (formerly Conversations and Confessions) is formatted to discuss a myriad of topics that will ignite positive conversations geared towards promoting self-love, encouraging healthy relationships, establishing businesses, reprogramming negative stereotypes and rebuilding the family structure in the African-American community.


While raising two sons, Antonio and Andray, K. Lowery Moore earned a MBA, with honors, from Strayer University, and in 2021, she celebrates thirty years of federal service. In her spare time, she operates two network marketing businesses, travels to tropical locations, and spends time with family, especially her seven-year old grandson, Amir.
